Project Outcome

High-Precision Turbidity Measurement

Our system successfully delivered high-precision turbidity analysis using a telecentric lens, linear camera and a bar light-based illumination system. By leveraging a standard vision system, we captured a high-resolution grayscale image of the liquid sample. The greyscale level was then corrected in 2D with a nonlinear calibration method. This method ensured consistent and repeatable measurements, free from variations caused by external lighting conditions.

Increased Efficiency and Automated Processing

The implementation of this solution significantly improved efficiency in sample processing, enabling our biotech partner to analyze liquid samples rapidly and accurately on smaller volumes to avoid costly waste. The automated motion system, featuring a precise motorized tray, allowed seamless sample positioning, reducing human error and increasing the reliability of data acquisition. The high-speed vision processing enabled researchers to obtain results in real-time, ensuring quicker decision-making in their workflows.
